Established in 1948 as Mercury Equipment in Springfield, Oregon, Mercury Metal initially specialized in chain-bar manufacturing. After relocating to 2060 W 7th Place in Eugene, the company became a crucial partner to the local mills and logging industry, which has experienced continuous contraction over the years. To adapt to these changes, Mercury broadened its services to include small equipment repair.

In 2015, Mercury Metal underwent a significant transformation with new ownership. The new owners, fabrication professionals with a forward-thinking approach, leveraged the existing space and resources to create a better future for the company. By embracing advanced CAD/CAM technology and assembling a skilled team with extensive expertise in metal design and production, Mercury Metal swiftly established itself as a premier development and manufacturing partner, distinguished by its unwavering commitment to quality and innovation.
